I Dyed My Hair Green

GREEN. I love green. An idea of dying my hair green stayed as an idea for months until I had a chance. Yaaaaas!

Here’s the story how the idea was born.

I had my hair dyed for years with different colors – mahogany, brown, light brown, chocolate brown, blonde, ash blonde, and so on. Sometimes we (with my sisters) do it at home, but most of the time we like our hair done at salons, so it could be well taken care of by hair experts.

Until my brother showed me his high school classmate’s photo, whose hair was purple, then showed me another photo of the same person with a different hair color, which was green. It was drastic that it made me want to have a hair like hers. But I still didn’t know if I have the courage to do so.

Months of waiting later, I FINALLY HAD A BRAVE HEART FOR THIS BIG HAIR CHANGE. Coz why not? YOLO! Of course I don’t want to grow old regretting the things I didn’t do that I always want to.

So, one saturday night, I decided that it’sย time. ๐Ÿ™‚ Photo below is my “before” hair.

Oh, did I forget to tell you that I only wanted to color the ends? yeah. I wanted it to have that ombre effect, and not the whole hair covered with such. I super had fun flipping and touching my hair in front of the mirror so i took a portrait of me, loving it!

Here’s a piece of advise from me:

Follow your heart’s desires. Do what makes you happy now and don’t wait til you’re old. Life is too short to ignore these little things that could somehow make your heart skip a beat. What’s harder than taking the risk is growing old regretting the things you didn’t do when you were younger and had enough time to be wild and free. Life is not about always winning, but failing a thousand times and winning at the end of your journey. I actually find “failing” beautiful, for it makes us better at anything that we do.

So, SMILE. ๐Ÿ™‚ ย **singing** Make a wish, take a chance, make a change, and breakaway ..

With so much love,
