Diy Accessory: Cute and Easy Phone Case

I am a kuripot. As one of those who prefers saving money than spending them on temporary things, I always find ways and use my other resources to keep up with my things without spending too much; and that’s when my creativity strikes.

Let’s take the gadget as an example. Back then, every phone’s color is commonly black. Until colored cases and bumpers were out on the market. One thing I noticed is that most of the people who bought colored and decorative cases change them every now and then. What do they do to the old cases? Well, most were thrown in the garbage, if not, forgotten in the drawer, like, forever.

So, as a kuripot, I wouldn’t want this to happen to me, putting my money to waste just by buying those different phone cases and be in trend. That’s when I thought of an idea of making my own cute phone case where I could change the look every now and then without spending too much.

Materials needed:
1. Clear phone case
2. Scissors and pen/pencil
3. Colored or printed papers (matte or glossy)

**Tip: You can also use some old gift wrappers, they look nice for a phone case. The most amazing part of it? It’s FREE. Yay! 🙂

Follow these easy steps!

Step 1. Trace your phone to the decorative or colored paper or gift wrapper using a pen/pencil. **Tip: Use the clear case to trace the hole for the camera and flash.

Step 2. Trim. Cut out the traced pattern using your scissors. **Tip: You can also use a puncher (optional) to create a hole for the camera so it would be easier to cut out that part.

Lastly, Place it inside the clear case. Make sure the design is facing outside so you can show to the world how nice your case is.

There! You can always be kikay and in trend without spending too much. You just have to look around you and be creative. For this activity, I made a lot so I can change the design every week. No need to buy a new one.

Don’t be afraid of trying new things. Use your imagination.

Always,
